Facilities At the Hostel

The hostel is equipped with facilities and services to enhance the quality of life of residents.

 Common Room

The Common Room for the residents is well furnished with an LCD TV with digital cable connection with sofa sets, a carom board in the common room, newspapers and magazines are also available for residents. The facilities provided in the Common Room are only meant for bonafide residents of the hostel, and not for their guests or day scholars of the Department of Social Work.

Note: Residents are not allowed to watch the TV programs without lights and are expected to come properly dressed and also maintain the decorum of the Common Room.

 Mess

The Mess provides quality food (Veg. & non veg.) for breakfast, lunch and dinner for all bonafide residents as per the approved menu.

 Wireless Internet Connections

Currently, University of Delhi provides wi-fi service to all bonafide users.

 Washing Machines 

Washing Machines facility is available for all the bonafide residents in both the wings.  

 CCTV Cameras

Hostel premises is equipped with CCTV surveillance system f or security and Safety of the residents.

 Gardens & Lawns

Three beautiful Green Lawns are available for residents during day ti me. Residents must contribute to maintain, enhance and preserve t he beauty of the lawns. Residents are advised not to use the lawns during Night.

 Safe Drinking Water

Hostel is installed with three water coolers in the men`s wing, women`s wing and in the mess with Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) system for safe drinking water.

 Fire and Safety

Hostel is well equipped with Fire and safety norms, currently 11 (eleven) fire extinguishers are placed at prime locations.

 Disable Friendly

At all the main entrance of the hostel the ramps facilities are erected to make it disable friendly.
